THE END OF THE WORLD
Day 3 - At Sea

LOS CURSOS DE INGLES GRATIS PREFERIDOS POR LOS HISPANOHABLANTES

IT'S TIME TO MOVE AROUND THE SHIP ...

A virtual cruise is the next best thing to be onboard the ship yourself. We know how much you will love having an intimate view of your cruise ship, so make plans to join this virtual voyage of the Norwegian Dream as she sails around rugged Cape Horn between Argentina and Chile.

Captain's Bridge
Those passengers interested in viewing the ship’s high tech navigational equipment usually take one of two escorted tours of the bridge where the Master (Captain of the ship) is working hard hours. Here you will also find the webcam which transmits all the instant pictures to the world. And, obviously also to OM Personal website !!

Internet Café
It contains six computer stations and is open 24 hours a day. This means that even at 3 a.m. in the morning you can be in touch with someone halfway around the world. There is an Internet manager who is always on hand to respond questions about the ship’s computer systems and assists OM Personal in accessing our operations onboard.

Conference Room
You can attend here shore excursion briefings with details pertaining to the various shore excursions available in the upcoming ports of call. OM Personal has gained some additional knowledge about Argentina’s history by attending enrichment lectures delivered by veteran globetrotters.

Observatory Lounge
Although the sailing is usually fairly smooth, sometimes a wicked wind whipping across the bow can chill you to the bone in minutes. That is why some passengers prefer to watch the passing scene from the warmth and comfort of the Observatory Lounge. On the contrary, OM Personal intrepids enjoy bundling up in heavy layers of clothes beneath our parkas and venture gingerly outdoors.

... AND NOW IT'S TIME TO HAVE DINNER AND FUN !!!

Restaurants
Many people eat in the "Four Seasons" restaurant -OM Personal's favorite- which has a terrific buffet with a wide assortment of exotic dishes (Smoked Norwegian Salmon Terrine,  Cold Curry Soup with Sesame Seed, Supreme of Chicken with Dry Sack Sherry, etc.). Those looking for a light buffet lunch usually go to the "Sports Café" where beverages (coffee and tea), cereals, fruit, freshly baked muffins and croissants, salads, turkey sandwiches, even freshly baked pizza, are served.

Stardust Lounge
Passengers join this beautiful theater for vocalists performances or movie screenings. One very popular show is the "Duo Miro" dance team with their great tango show. Originating in Argentina and first danced by gauchos in the 1880s, the tango is described as “baile con corte” (the dance with a stop) due to the many abrupt halts and transitions a couple must execute throughout the dance. In our humble opinion, no dance can compare with the tango’s footwork and the sensuality of its provocative movements.

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS:

BOW is the front of the ship and STERN is the back of the ship
PORT
is the left side of the ship and STARBOARD is the right side of the ship
