TRANSPORTATION
In the past, people traveled long distances by horse and carriage. Nowadays, we drive really fast and modern air conditioned cars.

WOMEN'S CLOTHES
A century ago, women wore long dresses. Right now, they are showing their navels and wearing very short tops. 

COMMUNICATIONS
Not many years ago, secretaries used to type in typewriters. Today, many people have computers at home. And most people are going to have computers at home in the next few years.

MEN'S CLOTHES
About 100 years ago, men wore knit swimsuits. In a near future, men worldwide are probably going to show off their latest daring swimwear on the beach.

Dentro de 20 años, la gente podría comprar productos de almacén por computadora.

Fifty years ago, people lived to around sixty.

Nowadays, people live to about seventy-five.

In the future, people are going to live even longer.

Hace 50 años, la  gente vivía aproximadamente hasta los 60 años.

Hoy en día, la gente vive hasta los 75 años aproximadamente.

En el futuro, la gente vivirá más tiempo aún.
