1. En general los consejos se estructuran en inglés del mismo modo que las órdenes o sugerencias:

BARE INFINITIVE OF VERB 1 + "TO" INFINITIVE OF VERB 2
Remember to press the button.
(Recuerda presionar el botón.)
Make sure to recharge the battery.
(Asegúrate de recargar la batería.)

2. Los consejos en negativo también cumplen el mismo requisito. Y los que utilizan el verbo TRY /trái/ (tratar, intentar) llevan la partícula negativa not inmediatamente después del primer verbo:

DON'T + BARE INFINITIVE VERB 1 + "TO" INFINITIVE VERB 2
Don't forget to clean the bathroom.
(No olvides limpiar el cuarto de baño.)

TRY NOT + "TO" INFINITIVE VERB 2
Try not to play on my computer today. I need it.
(Trata de no jugar en mi computadora hoy. La necesito.)
