Describing an object: categories

 

The purpose of this activity is to make sure that you are equipped with the vocabulary associated with objects and their description. At the same time this first part –split up into 6 categories– should provide you with the vocabulary that you need to talk about works of art. Look carefully at the pictures and try to choose the correct words from the menus. Then check the answers.

REMEMBER: When you wish to use more than one adjective before a noun. they should come in a certain order. The six categories listed below are in the appropriate order:
