LET'S CHECK THE PRONOUNS YOU REMEMBER

You use these pronouns to refer back to someone or something that has already been mentioned.

SOME IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT PRONOUNS

1.	You can use 'you' and 'they' to talk impersonally: a) You can use 'you' to talk about people in general: Being bad at languages, you do miss out a lot. b) You can use 'they' if it is not important to name the person or people you are referring to: They say communication prevents wars.
2.	You use 'this' and 'that' to identify yourself on the phone, or to introduce people: This is Marcos Vera speaking. Who was that on the phone? This is Ms Montana. She will be working with us.
3.	You can use reflexive pronouns after nouns or pronouns for emphasis: The topic itself was interesting but the film made it seem boring. Henry himself had never been abroad. You can also use a reflexive pronoun at the end of a clause to indicate that someone did something without any help from other people: I baked this bread myself. You use 'by' + a reflexive pronoun to indicate that someone did something without any help from other people, or to indicate that someone is alone: She decorated the whole house by herself. He sat by himself on the hill top and looked out to sea. 'On' + 'my/your/his/her/its/our/their' + 'own' has the same meaning: Do you like travelling on your own?
4.	Indefinite pronouns are always used with a singular verb: No one knows who started the fire. There's something in the cupboard. Everyone is invited to the party.

2.	The interviewer asks Marsha Muller to talk about Marsha Muller.
3.	She's bad at languages. Being bad at languages is her greatest weakness.
4.	The speakers agree with the speakers about one advantage of not being good at languages.
5.	When Marsha Muller travels, she trusts all the people she meets.
6.	There were several travel programmes on the radio last week, but the travel programme with Marsha Muller was the most interesting.
