CHINESE HOROSCOPES

Are you a Rooster or just a Rabbit?

Chinese horoscopes have evolved over thousands of years, and the characteristics you have are determined by the year in which you are born.

RAT  -  1924    1936    1948    1960    1972    1984    1996

The Rat is hard working, thrifty and generous to those they are fond of. They have a good eye for details and are inquisitive by nature. The Rat is also by nature very cautious. They like to buy things, which often are unnecessary and love bargain hunting. They cope very well during a crisis. Devoted in love, the Rat likes to spend holidays and weekends with the family.

OX  -  1925   1937    1949    1961    1973    1985    1997

The Ox is patient, calm, dependable and respects tradition. The Ox is also by nature stubborn and strong-headed.They are also capable to going through whatever means necessary to attain their goals. The Ox is extremely practical and usually lets its head rather than its heart rule. They are not risk takers but are rather creatures of habit. Not easily moved by emotions, it takes time for the Ox to develop intimate relationships. They are a good provider for their family.

TIGER  -  1926    1938    1950    1962    1974    1986    1998

The Tiger loves being the centre of attention and is by nature, restless, reckless, and quick-tempered. They are sincere, generous and affectionate and have a marvellous sense of humour. At best, they are warm, sensitive and sympathetic and at worst, obstinate and unreasonable. The Tiger is an optimist and is not materialistic though they are fashion conscious, articulate and liberated. A romantic at heart, the Tiger is passionate and sentimental in love.

RABBIT  -  1927    1939    1951    1963    1975    1987    1999

The Rabbit is a symbol of longevity and is one of the most fortunate of the twelve signs. The Rabbit when moody, is indifferent to people around them. They are a good and compassionate listener, but do not seem to be able to dispense advice. They tend to be more effective behind the scenes. The Rabbit can be your best friend as long as you do not ask too much of them.

DRAGON  -  1928    1940    1952    1964    1976    1988    2000

The Dragon is extremely positive, strong, energetic and decisive. They are upright and no-nonsense people. The Dragon needs a purpose as they cannot stand not having anything to do. The Dragon does not begrudge but forgives easily. Genuine and sincere, the Dragon means it when they say they love you. They usually marry young or stays single as they can be happy leading a solitary life.

The Snake is graceful and soft-spoken and likes the finer things in life. They are seldom bothered by money matters as they usually have what they need. They rely on their own judgement and in times of confusion, are steadfast and a pillar of strength. They are possessive and demanding in love and never forgive if a promise is broken. The Snake has a great sense of humour.

The Horse is not a conformist and does not go by standard procedures. They are cheerful, quick-witted and self-reliant. They love both mental and physical exercise and are always keen to keep busy. The Horse goes where the wind blows and will alter their course whenever necessary. The Horse can be fickle in love.

The Goat is gentle, compassionate, righteous and sincere. They do not work well under pressure and worry easily. They tend to be pessimistic and usually predict the worse. The Goat dislikes discipline and criticism. They are generous with both their time and money and are generally lucky. They are family people and are real romantics. They love candlelight dinners, soft music and moonlight.

The Monkey is quick-witted, clever and innovative. They are successful in whatever they choose to do. Confident by nature, they have a rare gift of making people like them. They have a superiority complex and do not respect others much. Insulting or reprimanding the Monkey is useless, as they will just laugh it all off. They are born strategists and like to try everything at least once.

Outwardly, the Rooster is self-assured and aggressive. But they are conservative and worriers at heart. They are generally good-looking and carry themselves very well. They are by nature neat, precise, organised, decisive and direct. They can be overly critical. The Rooster is a tireless worker. While the Rooster seems knowledgeable and worldly about most things, they can be puritanical about sex and affairs of the heart.

DOG  -  1922    1934    1946    1958    1970    1982    1994     

The Dog is honest, sincere and unpretentious. They are not demanding and get along with people. The Dog works hard as and when they want to. They are pessimist by nature and can be obstinate. It is difficult to influence the Dog once their mind is made up. They are tough and handle stress well without much complaint. The Dog usually does not fall madly in love but will be deeply attached to the one they love.

PIG  -  1923    1935    1947    1959    1971    1983    1995     

The Pig is calm and understanding. They hate arguments and put up with all sorts of nonsense from friends. They are a great friend and welcome friends with troubles with open arms. They tend to trust everyone. They have great stamina and energy and are capable of putting their heart and soul into their work. Their main fault is their inability to say ‘no’. They are over-generous. They love with all their heart and are the likely ones to end up hurt in love affairs.
