hanging 'round = hanging around (used for metrical reasons): being about (merodeando, rondando)
Example: Who is this man that is hanging around the department?

REMEMBER THESE TWO USES OF THE VERB "TO HANG"
AS AN IRREGULAR VERB: to hang / hung / hung / hanging (colgar algo)
AS A REGULAR VERB: to hang / hanged / hanged / hanging (ahorcar, ahorcarse) :- (

hawk: diurnal bird of prey (halcón, ave de rapiña)
prey (presa): animal hunted or caught for food; in this context, it means "a person who is the aim of an attack by some hostile person".
to shadow: to follow, usually without the person's knowledge (espiar, seguir, perseguir)
Example: The police are shadowing her.
to echo/echoed/echoed/echoing: to ring or echo with sound (repetir un sonido, sonar como eco)
stones = cobblestones: rectangular paving stone with curved top used to make roads (empedrado)

drifting = moving outwards (saliendo de, emergiendo de)
staring eyes: looking with eyes open and fixed as if in fear or wonder (mirada fija, absorta)
